Mobile operators guilty of prixe fixing

KPPU (Commission for Business Competition) found six mobile operators guilty of price fixing text message services.

Do that to Organda, too, then.

I guess some price-gouging activities are permitted under the anti-monopoly law...

It was a nice touch for the KPPU to also state in their decision the fair price for an SMS in their view!

I think I am paying much less than that now though.

Yes, Rob, I'm trying to get the full report incl how they came up with the "fair price".

If it is true, as far as I know price since fixing is done by agreement, then we should consider that price fixing can be categorized as criminal. So, the punishment is not only fine but can be jailed sentence. The companies (and directors of course) are acting like robber, stealing money from our pockets.
